This page features Caucasians who need new homes or to be rescued from shelters. We will also publish updates on the dogs featured. If you would like information on the dogs or know of a CO who needs a more suitable home, please contact us.

AACOO will donate a free year's membership to our club to anyone who rescues a Caucasian Ovcharka from a shelter.

DONATIONS
AACOO-ResQ donates annually to an American CO rescue organization. For 2006 and 2007 our recipient was Caucasian Rescue in Washington State.

AACOO-ResQ also accepts donations that can be ear-marked to go straight to our rescue fund.

My name is AlmaBear, and I need a new home.

I am a Caucasian-Central Asian Shepherd cross. I was purchased in Almaty Kzakhstan in September of 2002. I presently live in suburban Virginia, but, unfortunately, I have not adapted to suburban life. :((

Oh, but I possess all the qualities of a wonderful, fabulous pet! However, my manners are not the best. I tend to pull on the leash, and since I weigh roughly 120 pounds, I am so powerful that I have to admit I have pulled my owner over and dragged her down the street (more than once).

My owner really does love me, though, and understands that what I really need is a home with some wide open space and a person(s) who can devote time and some training to me. My owner will not take me to a shelter, so any of you out there who would like to get to know me better and learn about my other 'little quirks' please contact my owner, Lisa ( Lisab55@verizon.net ) or AACOO.
